Gas fumes and empty gas filter. – ’68 300

Looking for some help to troubleshoot a potential issue. 1968 Chrysler 300 440 with mechanical pump, clear plastic fuel filter. New tank and sending unit. Edelbrock 1406 Carb.

When the car is started cold, the fuel filter fills up 80-90% with fuel and the car fires up almost immediately.

When the car is warm it doesn’t start as easily and occasionally I smell gas while driving but have not been able to pinpoint when or what causes this.

1968 300 Rear Main Seal Leak

I don’t see anything obvious near the ignition switch where I would expect to see a light. Wondering if maybe the ignition switch itself was…

I have the engine bay wiring mostly buttoned up and to finish testing everything I need to move under the dash so I pulled the cluster out yesterday.

Correct Crank Pulley w/o A/C

Happy Friday folks! Looking to fix the wobble in my crankshaft pulley. And since it looks like the wrong pulley I thought I would replace it instead of repair it. Seemed easy enough until I started researching pulleys.

As you can see the pulley has…

Cornering Light Housing Repair

Hello restoration experts! Any thoughts or suggestions on how to repair this cornering light housing? I am searching for a replacement but if I can’t find one I would like some ideas on how to repair what I have.

You can see in the picture, when I removed the badly rusted light socket, part of the housing came out with it. Any tips or ideas are greatly appreciated!
