Engine Bay Cleaning
What’s the best way to do a good degreasing and cleaning on an M body engine bay? Pressure washer and degreaser? Anything to watch out for? I’m concerned because I still have the lean burn computer for now.
Holley Spread Bore Quadrajet?
I posted this on another board, but didn’t get a lot of responses. I am thinking it would be best to go spread bore to spread bore on my carb and intake (performer 2176). Would the Holley 0-08555C be a good one? It’s a little pricey but has no call for an adapter plate and is reasonable size at 650cfm. I’m wanting to have things mate up without adapters and such. Mechanic is wanting to stick to Holley. I was looking for some mopar guys that might have done this before. I found one good post…
Rear axle and differential from a D150?
Would a rear 8.25 axle from a 1984 Dodge D150 fit my 1985 Gran Fury? Trying to find the closest thing to a bolt on swap I can and this one is relatively close for sale.
Listing for part numbers
It would be great to have a listing for current part numbers for common items needed in these vehicles. To add to that, if the part is no longer available, what works in it’s place. I see lots of posts about I had to go through X amount of ___ part from different manufactuerers, but no listing that the Acme 2345A was the actual part that fit.

Replacing Side Molding on an M Body?
Is the side molding on the M bodies riveted on or just taped on? Mine has lost it’s color and needs replacing. Body shop didn’t seem to be eager to repaint it. Ideas? Sources?
New 225/70R15 Tires
New tires today on the 1985 Gran Fury. I took several pics so that any guys in the future doing a search can see. These are P225/70R15 white wall (also search term whitewall) Nexen N’ Priz AH5 stock no. 15402NXK with date code 3223. Load rating 100 and speed rating T. I bought them locally at a tire shop in Huntsville, Alabama. I’m posting some pics at different angles for reference. Car has stock suspension.
