Booster Woes
Backstory: I sent the one off my 1970 New Yorker to the rebuild place in Washington, but they wanted $705.00!!! I’m not restoring the car, I’m building a driver. That price is too much for what the car warrants. The power break booster rebuild group in Washington said the two big reasons for the higher-than-normal…
1970 NEW YORKER DRIVER BUILD PROJECT- BEFORE BUILD PICS
I’d like to share some pics of my car before any real work is done. Today I’m getting a new exhaust system installed, going for a very quiet H pipe set up. It still has trouble starting, but it is drivable and has a high idle. The plan is to do the mechanical work first, then the bodywork. And, as my brother reminds me, to pace myself! That’s the hardest part. I’ll try to post as many pics as this project moves along. Enjoy the pictures. I can only post 10 at a time so I’ll do…

Hi folks,
I finally bought a c-body. The rub is that I have to ship it from near Tacoma Washington to NW Indiana. The best price I have so far is from Mikes Discount Auto for 1600 in an enclosed truck. Any suggestions on someone who might be less expe…
PHOTOS of 2nd Annual C-Body Meet at the Volo Auto Museum
Hi Everyone, The show was my first and a total blast. Tim did a great job organizing this thing and I am sure next year will be even better. I’ll be posting photos in small batches due to the limitations of the site tools. The first few are of the cars arriving, then I’ll load pics of the show, then people and prizes.
Enjoy,
John

Advice on Doge Vans
Hi All,
I know this is a forum for C-Bodies, but I also know that this group has a ton a expert mechanics and people with a lot of knowledge about Chrysler products in general. I am planning to purchase a doge van in the next couple of months, an older model, maybe late 90’s up to mid early 2000’s, and was curious if there are any high dollar mechanical issues to look for. Any known issues with transmissions, engine, drive train etc that are constant problems in vans of these years.
