Source for vintage upholstery

I have a 64 imperial in desperate need of having the seats done, as far as I know, nobody makes pre sewn upholstery for it, so i need to find the material and take it to an upholstery shop
Is there a good source for vintage material?
It has the pearl white leather, and yes I know it won’t be cheap, but it’s a 56k all original car so i really want to restore it back to original, eventually

Why?…..just why?

Purchase used 1965 Chrysler Imperial 2 Door Hardtop in Dresden, Tennessee, United States, for US $8,000.00

Why? And most mind bending of all. They shortened it then put a continental kit on it

Got a fun book today

It’s the ” master technicians service reference book” for 1964
It has 9 separate booklets, from ” what’s in store for 64″ telling all the changes for the 64 model year to “compact truck service”
The booklet I found the most interesting was “pre-delivery inspection”
It covers everything you should check when a new car arrives before it is picked up by the customer
What fascinated me was” in exchange for some free spot advertising, NADA members have agreed to set one button on all radios to…

Single to dual master cylinder conversion

The single reservoir master cylinder on my 64 imperial is leaking, for safety sake I want to convert to a dual master cylinder while I’m at it
I understand a 67 C body for drum brakes is a bolt on item, and that it’s a distribution block not a proportioning valve, so i can plug the hole for the back brakes, and connect the rear line directly to the master cylinder, does this sound right?
Here is where I’ve gotten my information…

Has anyone ever seen a screen/ shade for the back window

This was in the trunk of my 64 imperial, I’ve never seen anything like it before, it fits the back window perfectly and there are mounting brackets, looks aftermarket, you can see through it
