Offenhauser intake $150

413-440 RB Offenhauser PN-5762 360° intake used but cleaned up extremely well. Willing to trade for an aftermarket intake for 383.

Can somebody please help me decode this body tag? I can’t seem to understand how it’s done.

Offy intake

So I went to a vintage drag race last weekend and bought what I was told was the correct intake for my 1965 383….. Long story short I’m newer to the big block scene and the guy screwed me and sold me an intake for a 440. So would anybody want to trade an absolutely immaculate Offenhauser 360 intake to go on a RB for a decent (even if it’s a stock 4 bbl) square bore intake for a B?

Probably the dumbest idea ever

So I have a 1965 Newport 4-door, as per the status quo it has the 383 in it. I was wondering (yes even after searching many resources) how difficult it would be to swap in a built 318 and trans??? (it will still be a 727 btw but a 1976 set up for a small block instead of the twin pump from 1965) I know there is some mounting boss difference on the engine mounts from 62(?)through 65 than from 66 on but is that a big deal to the point that some other type of mount couldn’t be fabricated???

Welcome Grease556 to FCBO!

I may be considered young to some people but classic cars have been in my blood since birth. Currently working on my 1965 Newport, and though some may hate it, I am building it into a “lowrider”.
