Found her in the farmers pasture in Ryley Alberta last month and just couldn`t leave

Has anyone tossed the generator and all the related bs in favor of a self exciting internalally regulated alternator? Just a thought, save bolting a voltage regulator on the firewall and all the wires that go with it.

How in the name of hell can it be so hard to say goodbye to a piece of iron? 25 years,daughter married, lost son sitting in the passenger seat, and a girl with the biggest grin on the world after I told her she was doin like 80!

Pulled this out of the 60 this weekend and I’m wonderin if I should keep it, V8 poly with no harmonic balancer and the flywheel on the damn thing is bolted on with nuts on the engine side!ive tried the casting number sites and they don’t go back that far#1576329. Help!
