Greetings:

Been putting a car (74-360 charger) back together and to start off I have some electrical issue which isn’t really my concern right now.

(jumping the starter relay i have what I want for now.)

Unfortunately the starter only spins and the first google search I seen was a flywheel mounted backwards.

This mini starter I had bought years ago (~6) for my other charger but the headers would not allow it to mount. So it’s my assumption there isn’t a problem with the starter….

Is there a clean way to pop out a lock on the trunk lid / gas cap?

After moving twice owning this car I cannot figure out where the keys went for either. I was hoping they would suddenly pop up at some point but I’m beginning to give up on that optimism. Fortunately the ignition key never left the car.

I think I read to jam a flat head in is about all i need to do?

the battery side “wire shield” is broken. Do they sell this piece?

Is this shield-like piece even needed? I..e. Can i simply hook the wire direct and not worry?
I’m sure it’s there to protect from accidental ground outs?

Looking for the small shifter rod on the 727

i need the slider linkage to complete the kickdown linkage.
Along with the spring unless that’s as easy as stopping at a hardware store

Is there a variation on Park rods? Based on year of car or drivetrain?

I cannot find this part and don’t want to buy a part that doesn’t fit correctly.
Ebay about the only place to buy this or is this something a parts store can order?
