I need to remove the passenger door glass on my 66 Polara convertible. The FSM states I have to remove the vent frame and door glass as a unit. I don’t have enough hands.

Is there any way to remove just the vent frame without the window glass? I need to replace the guide shoes and weatherstrip in the front (vent) channel.

I have a set of non-bright wiper arms that came off a 1966 Polara.

They’re in very good condition, and the springs seem to be ok. I’m asking thirty dollars for the pair, and I Will include freight in the continental U.S from zip 74012 (Oklahoma). There is some tape residue on them that can be cleaned off.

I guess I’ll start at the beginning.
