Replcement sheet metal availability?

Hey all, seriously considering taking on a pretty big project – 70 Newport convertible blue/blue with serious rot underneath. Stub frame is good, rear rails could be patched, but needs floorpans/rocker work or replacement, and the trunk dropoffs and most of the trunk pan are toast as well as the back third of the wheelhouses.

It looks like there are partial floor pieces available, and the trunk pan, but how about any of the rest of it? Or are we looking at parts from a donor?

Not mine – 1973 Fury II, 31k original miles, $6k/offer

This one was just posted today, not too far from Indianapolis. I don’t know if I buy 31k miles, but it does look clean.

4 door/auto/air looks like a small block but I’m no expert.

NOT MINE – 1972 Fury III Sedan – make offer

My first ‘not mine’ post so if something is wrong feel free to delete/fix as needed. Didn’t see this posted but if I missed it my apologies. While searching for a 2 door 68-71 to restore I came across this one on FB in Webster, KY

WANTED: 68-71 Sport Fury/300/Polara coupe/conv project

It was suggested in a thread I made elsewhere to make a post on here to see if anyone is holding onto one of these that they may be willing to part with, so here it is.

I’m looking for a 68 (I know it’s not a fuselage car but i really like the look) or 69-71 300/Sport Fury/Polara/Monaco coupe or convertible project. Here’s my list of ‘needs’ and ‘nice to haves’.

Needs:
Basically sound (solid frame/stub/floors), complete car with engine/trans. Running or not, but complete.
2 door coupe or…

Which might be a ‘better’ choice/price? 69 300 Vert or 69 Polara 500

So…. after spending my 20’s and 30’s doing nothing but driving, working on and trading Mustangs, I get a hankering 20 years later to find some classic muscle I can wrench on and drive. I’ve admired all types of muscle cars over years, and recently stumbled onto this big, burly beasts while scouring CL, Ebay and Facebook for a project.

My problem is this – I know what I’d like – a 69-70 300, Polara or Fury. I’m also familiar with what it takes to resurrect a car from the dead and can do…

Welcome DerbyCity to FCBO!

Long time classic/muscle car lover and owner. Used to be all Mustangs, all the time – owned a host of 67, 68 coupes, 69 Grande, 69 Mach 1, 70 Mach 1, 73 fastback, but those were all before settling down in life. Now, 25-30 years later the C-Bodies recently caught my eye and I’m thinking about jumping in headfirst.
