WTB: Drivers-side Fender, Rear Quarter Panels 69 Chrysler

Looking for the driver’s side fender and both rear quarter panels for a 1969 Chrysler; for a Newport. Ideally NOS, used but nice works too, ready to go (can’t say I’m equipped to tear down something myself) and somewhere near Michigan or willing to ship :) As of this point, availability of pictures is a must so I can at least try to confirm the offer is legitimate.
Amusingly, I gotta say; I love the warning before making the post :) I had hit up a few FB groups looking for the parts and I’m…

Fuse box “Console”, no fuse in place?

Bought my 70 Newport last fall, had it long enough to get her running with new carburetor and brakes and make a list of items to look into before storing it for the winter. Bigger issue was a lack of a working gas gauge, but the radio, odometer, and trip odometer weren’t working either. On the gas gauge I found a few posts here about issues with the electrical being the cause, and with the radio not working too I figured that first chance I got I’d look into the electrical. Storage facility…

69 Newport Stripes; Any pics??

I’m a ways away from anything paint related, but for my project car I’m decoding the tags and seeing that what it shipped with and what she is today are a tad different; looks like we got a paint job, and lost an accent stripe in the process!
I’m not seeing any great pics online, so I didn’t know if anyone had a 69 Newport (or maybe a New Yorker, or 300? If they did the same?) with an intact stripe I could scope out and see if its something I want to bring back :)

Decoding 69 Newport Custom’s Tag

I get to play this game now too!! I’m actually pretty excited!
My 1969 Chrysler Newport Custom was my first car in HS back in the late 90s. The frame on it was shot by the late 00s, so I had it stored away, hoping I could do something with it some day. This past year we were able to pick up a 1970 that needs some TLC, so we stripped the 69 down, saved what we could (which was a lot of the trim and interior!) and this spring/summer I want to spruce the 70 up and “clone” my 69 as much as I can…

Newport, New Yorker body panels; interchangeable? Years?

First up: I am NOT terribly knowledgeable about the cars. But, I have a bit of a project.
I have an old 1969 Newport Custom that was my first vehicle, but was stored improperly and isn’t in restorable shape itself. I am able to salvage a number of ele…

Compatible Donor Frames, 69 Newport?

I commented in my intro post a couple days ago I am NOT a car person, I’m a tech geek first and foremost so if this seems nuts I apologize, but I want to get my 69 Newport Custom back “on the road.” She’s basically going to be stripped down for all the parts I can salvage and those are going to be preserved but the frame itself is basically gone.
In the tech work I do, on various PCs, arcade consoles, and what not, I can grab some circuit boards from closely related issues and use them as a…

69 Newport (Custom) 2 Door

Fair warning; I am not a car person so I won’t be good on the lingo BUT I am looking to reassemble my original car, a 1969 Chrysler Newport Custom 2 door :)

I’m looking for, in all likelihood, a project car with a good frame; 2 door, custom or no. My original wasn’t stored properly and upon getting it back the frame was basically gone, as is most of the exterior. Engine, a reasonable share of other elements, are salvageable and while the original won’t hit the road again, if I can use it…
