The problem im having is that the kickdown doesn’t seem to be working properly. When I test drove it the engine runs good, but when I get into the throttle rhe accelerates, but doesn’t feel like the 4 barrel is really opening up. Its the stock carter carb and original intake. 1966 chrysler 300 wheel studs
Looking to put aftermarket wheels on my 300, is it possible to swap out the wheel studs so they are all "righty" . Anyone have any luck doing this?
Electronic ignition for 66′ Chrysler 300 with 383
Just rebuilt the engine and want to replace the old points with an electronic ignition, who out there has swapped and what brand you using? Any issues ?
1966 Frost Turquoise Metallic
I will be doing some body work and repainting my 1966 300 within rhe next couple of months. I want to keep the original color of Frost Turquoise Metallic however I find rhe color a bit dull and doesn’t pop against rhe chrome. Would anyone have any tips on what I can do to wake the color up a bit?
What performance gains should i expect 383
My 1966 383 is currently being rebuilt. So far the only mods I’ve made are
Original 516 heads – hardened seats, bowl blend, new springs
Cam- 462/470 lift, 262/270 duration
Stock dual plane intake, stock 4bbl carter carb.
I plan to run dual exhaust at some point as well.
Factor stock specs say 325HP ,425 torque
