Tortion Bars

Need some help- I want to adjust my ride height. Maybe just an inch or two lower on the front end. My 66 300 however is not on the same page. Tried to mark the torsion bars and turn but nothing. Added a 4′ breaker bar and broke my socket wrench but still no movement on the bars. Car was jacked up. Plenty of PB Blaster sprayed.

Before I try again this evening I figured I would ask- Am I doing something wrong?

Gasket

I know there used to be a gasket between the brake booster bracket and firewall. Is that something I can find online or is there another material I can get and cut to fit?

Have the new bracket that matches up with a booster. Image is the old one.

I’m sure many questions will follow but here is #1: having issues separating upper control arm with steering knuckle. Castle nut is off. Looks free and clear to just come off… But won’t.

What am I missing? Do I have to remove the ball joint stud (top)? Special tool for that?

Headliner

While I am waiting for a few parts to get here for the Brakes I wanted to order a new headliner for the 66 300. Any success here with a certain brand/company?
