hey, i got the monster tach sport comp gauge through jegs because it was a killer deal. it came with that gauge and a bracket for water temp, oil pressure and voltage. all mechanical. anyway…im wondering where this mondo tach is gonna fit. it doesnt fit tied to the column. am i gonna go dash pad? if so, how have you guys attached them?

I picked up a working 727 for dirt cheap but I don’t know what it fits. Floundered around for a while with the part number decoders but i don’t see this one listed. Can anyone tell me what this came out of?

It has an A-727 cast into it which leads me to believe it is for an A body.
The tailshaft has the number 83 1 051111 4028194

Gas filler tube on my Swinger goes through the body from outside with foam gasket behind the flanged end, then screwed to the body – correct ?. The reason I’m asking – when installed this way, the gas cap I bought which is supposed to fit Swingers – stands a half inch off the fender, it’d fit right if the flange for the tube were behind the sheet metal – I nust have the wrong cap (had it painted and everything – sucks)

what is the best way to set rockers, tried the fella gauge thing today but i dont think that really works unless everything is new, and not broke in and used. or is there anybody in mn twin cities north west side that knows a mechanic that will come out to homes and help tune in a motor???

Been looking at my engine bay before i start painting the car and was looking at the metal holders that hold wires that run along firewall and curious as to who still uses them and who doesn’t. Should i take mine off before i paint the car and then reattach them since the paint is pealing off them?
