I cant find an 8 3/4 rear end anywhere close by!!! So my next guess would be a ford 9″?? Is there anything better then this that dont cost an arm and leg? I would really like to have an 8 3/4 but none of the salvage yards have one. what should I look for? what would fit the best and with less modification in a 72 scamp? thanks

Right now my ’74 318 has manifolds that came off a different 318. Don’t know what year. Would 340 manifolds make a noticable difference in power? I know they flow better. Later this winter I may have a chance to get a pair. My engine also has a 340 cam, performer intake, and the 318 heads had some work done to them. Would this make a better combination over the 318 manifolds? With the 340 manifolds seal good to the 318 heads? Thanks

as said, i have 3 wheels i need gone by the end of this week. all have tires mounted, but none are any good. make an offer, or trade me for something i can use on my 74. if you want these u better jump on them cause im movin and these will be gone one way or another

If you are close to Redding California on Oct 25 and 26 you should come out and see what the slants can do, or better yet run your slant with us! We will probly have a record turn out, have close to 30 cars going to be there! Come out and join us for BBQ and bench racing there is no better place to get alot of good info on the slants and see it in action!:burnout:
