Anybody good with a 727?

OK…so i head back home open the shop to take the Dart for a spin…I run it around the block and notice the tranny is sticking a little,so i head back to the shop turn around put it in reverse and hit the gas…i feel tenion but no matter how much throttle i give it wont move…So i pop the hood add a little tranny fluid.(just to level it up)Nothing changes so i pull it into the shop put in park let off the brake and i can feel the car pulling forward like its steel trying to stay in…

318 / 360 Difference

I am not new to the mopar hobby, but I am new to the world of A-Bodies. I recently bought a ’73 Dart Sport with a 225 6cyl. I plan to swap the engine over to a small block. When I was looking at the conversion motor mounts, apparently there is a difference between the 318 mount and the 260 mounts. I haven’t quite decided which engine I will go with, but what is externally different about the 318 a the 360? Thanks for the help.

Almost there!

Won’t be long I will get to hear this thing run. Just a few more things to hook up. This was a 318 – 904 – 7.25 now it’s a 408 – 727- 8.75 w/355 posi. I switched the front end from a formula S car. It now has p/disc factory a/c and p/steering. Should be a fun driver.

4 spd to auto, auto to 4spd

If anyone can answer this, I know ya’ll can!!

Ok, so I’m working a deal to swap my 727 for a 4spd with a guy that wants my 727. We both have steel crank 340s (mine’s a 70, his is a 71) and he was told by the guy that built his that he’s going to have to machine down the nose of the TC for it to fit his crank. I was under the impression cranks were all drilled to accept an auto and you had to put a bushing in for it to accept a 4spd. Am I wrong? He’s worried now that his crank may not be cut…

Mopar Wheelies

….a few shot from Md International (Budds Creek) Mopar meet today. 140 cars just in the car show alone. It was 74° and severe clear there. BTW – the last pic is a 340. When asked how he could do that he said the big boys don’t try hard enough.
