I dropped off some parts for him to install, as I am wqay to busy to put them onmyself right now, and would like to get in some fun before the winter hits up here.

I had some oil leaks around my intake manifold near the dizzy, so it had to come off anyway I decided that the intake I had (Weiand 8007) needed to go, it needed a heli coil., and had the smaller intake runners. I have a 72 Slant 6 Duster that I’m using the conversion mounts to put in a LA 360 with a 727 trans. Does the 727 fit the trans tunnel? Will the slant trans crossmember/mount be usuable? If not is there a crossmember that will work or am just fabbing up something?

I haven’t bought a helmet since the 80’s. I was just poking around the web and found one for $27.95! DOT approved, not SNELL. NHRA requires SNELL, don’t they? I want to get a good one, but I don’t want to spend a bunch. Same old story. I don’t race much and I don’t need one for anything else.

i am trying to get a baseline on what the hp would be coming out of the 451 stroker I have in my 73′ duster. she is fresh with no miles, 10.5:1 compression, fully balanced, 440 source aluminum heads, performer RPM manifold, hedman 1-3/4 full length headers, 850 mighty demon, 3″ exhaust and 40 ser. flowmasters. Just curious if any one has one out there with a siilar build. My engine guy said I should be in the 500-535 hp range…..any comments.?

Parting out a 74 2 door scamp. Many great parts still available including grille, taillights, trim, bumper jack, dash frame, fenders, doors, etc.

The following parts are not available: disc brakes, wheels, frame rails, kick panels.
