Anyone know about headliners……..

I have a 69 Dart that has a cardboard headliner that isn’t in very good shape. I will need to re-do the headliner and thinking of a reg. headliner. What is involved with replacing the cardboard with a cloth or other headliner?
I asume you have to get headliner bow’s somewhere but are the holes there to hook to? Anything else involved? Where do you get headliners?
Thanks.

It has a 360 amc and a 727 tranny, witha B&M Mega Shifter, reverse manual VB, tranny brake, and a 4000 stall TCI converter. Sometimes it wants to creep forward in neutral when you rev it, and reverse is sometimes a little soggy, like you need extra rpm to move it…

593 vs. 302 Heads on 318 ?

I recently got a 72 Duster with a 318, 4 speed. It has an Edelbrock performer cam and intake, Holley 600 carb, and headers, but other than that I think its a stock rebuilt (around 1980) block. The heads are # 4027593, would going to 302 heads bump compression over the 593’s? And would the 302’s be a better performing head? Are 593’s any good, what are they from?

I’m looking at going with a different cam, and trying to bump compression if posible without a complete rebuid. Its a good running…
