New to Mopar

Hello to you all from The Great White North. I am currently in negotiations on my first Mopar. It is a 1973 Plymouth Scamp, and curious about the best companies for original replacement parts. Hope I’m not swearing at you all when I say I’ve always owned Chevy, and a recent collision has me needing to replace my 1962 Nova. I’ve always been a Mopar admirer, just never ended up in one.

Can anyone ID this camshaft?

I pulled this cam out of a previously rebuilt 71 340 engine. My guess is that the engine was rebuilt in the mid to late 80’s It is in good condition and i am looking to see if anyone here recognises the numbers or the symbol stamped on it. The symbol looks like a hairy spider. It is definitely a spider. There is also what looks like a large nail next to it. I know its a long shot, but somebody might know. Numbers are 45H07 and #14380. I have posted some pictures. Perhaps an old Sig Erson?…

HI from Oz

G’day, just thought i’d say hello, just joined the forum. I live in Australia, and have a VG Valiant Hardtop currently in restoration. We designate our model using letters instead of by year. Its a 1970 car. These Hardtops are all pillarless 2 door 69 Dart bodies that Chrysler Australia used as the basis for the 69 (VF) and 70 (VG). The driveline is a 71 340 engine, A833 OD trans (not sure if the OD has a different designation?) and disc brake rear end (3.27 4 pinion LSD, 28 Spline axles, same…
