I have a 1976 Plymouth Duster with a 318, automatic. It’s from Arizona and I recently bought it in New Jersey…it’s a rare find to acquire a car without any rust here in NJ.

I haven’t done body work for over 30 years..that is why we bought a rust free duster however, to get any decent sized tire under the rear, I am now thinking we will need to tub out the rear.

Could anyone post a step by step guide..I suspect there are a few other newbies that would appreciate it.

I forgot to ask..are there any downsides to big rear tires ?

Hey guys, signed up a while ago, but just now needing some advice. I have a ’69 Dart with a 318 from a ’72 Charger. The previous owner installed a set of “bargain” headers, which of course leak from the center two pipes at the heads. I’m friends with the guy and he tells me that this leak is common and almost all the headers leak….I say NO WAY!

1. Is this that common?
