I have a bad thrust bearing in my 318 in my 1972 coronet. Just talked to a guy at napa who usually knows his stuff, he said it may be possible to change the thrust bearing with the engine still in the car, if I can get the oil pan off. I’ll go look for myself to see if there is room to get the oil pan off but I figured I should ask here if anyone has tried it or has input on whether it can be done.

For the record, I’ve never done this kind of work before, this is all a learning experience…

Not much progress yet. Got the hood open, removed some parts, pulled the fender out a bit and the radiator away from the fan.

It started and ran fine while having water poured into the radiator.

2780945 exhaust manifold for A body 1967-69 273-318 cars. Really don’t know what it’s worth, make offer.

Pro Street Damper for internally balanced engines. Used on mock-up, then I found a good deal on a Fluidampr, so I went with that instead. $100 shipped in US.

LA valve covers. Good condition, need a paint job. Don’t have the plastic grommets for the plug wires. $40 shipped in US.
