Found an ’80 or ’81 LeBaron with an 8 1/4″ axle in a yard. I have heard that the 2.45 and 2.2 gear-ratio rear ends had a slightly different/unique center portion of the axle from the 2.76 & up had on them. Not having much experience with these rear ends and cramped work space (low light), I could not positively ID the ratio until I pulled out the diff…2.2 ratio
Here is my question- is it possible to strip off the ring gear, swap on a 3.21 ring gear from a rear I possess, & use this sure-grip…

8 3/4 3.91 SureGrip Limited Slip Differential rear end. It is a 489 case with a big yoke. I used this in my 1971 Dodge Dart for bracket racing. It has a new ring and pinion, bearings, and seals. I put maybe 50 passes on it. My car was only a high 13 second small block dart so it hasn’t been stressed. I went back to 3.23 rear end for cruising. Call/Text David at 252-717-0457

hey guys im intalling fuel line on my 71 demon and i was wondering if i need to run the vent line back up front or if i can leave it disconnected, also what purpose does it serve? emissions?

i found a 73 duster in the weeds, for $225.00 was going to be just for parts on 11/10/2011, dad went with me-big mistake he claimed it for his own. O-boy a full on build with just bear skins and stone knife’s. This is crazy insane it can’t be done. O-wow this is a lot of fun!!!with only a shade tree, no shop , no cement slab. this is super low doe .injoy the pic’s.
