So i am putting my engine back together now, but i have ran into some problems. My first problem is, i made fenderwell headers because it was a pain trying to make some regular underchassis headers. My next problem is, i made an x-pipe to flowmasters system, but theres no way i can connect the exhaust to the headers.. So what i am wanting to know is, is anyone here using fenderwells, and do you have an exhaust sytem? Also how are you routing the exhaust if you do have exhaust pipes going to an…

I am considering swapping out my \6\ with a \8/. I tbought the 273 would be a likely candidate for it since it is the smaller engine I believe and it would be going into my 63 Dart convertible.
I know the 318s are very plentiful but dont know size comparison to the 273 so if anyone can enlighten me on possible issues or caveats in cramming this into the restricted engine compartment of the 63 I would appreciate it.
