As you May have seen from other threads, I’m in the process of restoring my Brazilian 1970 Dart (same as the American 1969).

My question is in regards to the color of the grille, and also the color of the trunk lid panel.

While the old paint looks like matte black, I’m pretty sure the grille would not have been matte.

However, satin black doesn’t seem to give it enough shine, and gloss black feels like it would be too shiny.

I have a blue Mopar shipping crate that has a metal cradle bolted in it that accepts small blocks. It may take a big block, but not sure.
