Hey all, I am looking for some suggestions on what cam to go with. I’m planning on keeping it pretty mild. I was just going to do a stock roadrunner cam with KB 240 pistons and a Edelbrock 1407. Other than that is basically stock. Then I realized the 68 roadrunner cam I was going to put in had some chips on the corners of the distributor gear, so I am going to go with something else. Hey all. I endend up snaping one of my rings during installation. I made some calls and cant get just a set for one cylinder and I have to buy the whole set. Im curious if anyone has an extra one. I need the #2 ring part number 4342AM8.040 thanks!

Hi, I’m about to start rebuilding my first engine a Chrysler 400, so bare with me I’m new to this. I will be putting the crank in this weekend but wanted to double check bearing tolerances. Does anyone know them off the top of there head? They are Clevite77 MS-876P-20 bearings. Also I don’t know much on the torque specs are these correct:

Main Caps
85 ft-lbs.

Connecting Rod Bolts (Plain)
45 ft-lbs.

Connecting Rod Bolts (Heavy Duty)
55 ft-lbs.

Crankshaft Rear Bearing Seal
30 ft-lbs….

Tolerances

I figure this is a long shot, but I don’t suppose anyone has an extra
MS-876P-20 main bearing (not the thrust one) just laying around I was shipped one that is damaged
