I finally have some room and have dusted off my 15 year old "new" model RR stuff. Just wondering if I was the only one.
Breifly, I sold my old Lionel trains 15 years ago and bought a whole bunch of matched HO trains stuff using the Great Northern lines (Predecessor to the Burlington Northern line which merged with Santa Fe to become BNSF). I didn't have space at the old house, so it was kept boxed and never used. Through a Flood that destroyed most of the old house to moving to the new and then building out the basement and having kids living in the basement space, it remained boxed. Over the weekend the last of married couples stuff left to go to their new digs (I spent the first 80 days since the purchased it helping them make it liveable), so I finally have a newarly empty basement and so, for the first time in 15 years, the stuff has come into the daylight. I am starting the table I'm going to use for the layout. It is a hobby I enjoyed in High School and when we were first married. Lots of changes over the years.
