My cousin was over today and told me about a company about 2 hours west of me, said they are the best. They are known as North Central Air Compressors or NCaircompressors.com. I called today expecting to leave a message, but a guy named Rex answered my call. I guess he's one of the owners. He gave me all the info I needed because he know their web page is not yet all done. He recommended and I bought their model PK6560. 6.5HP, 3 cylinder, 60 gallon upright. 20 scfm @ 120 psi, IIRC. $696 delivered TOMORROW! The same at lowe's etc were $900 and more! before delivery and taxes. they deliver east to west on 36 HWY every Monday and guaranteed if I ever had a problem, I'd never be more than the next Monday for a service call, and their drivers/service men have everything they could ever need on board to fix the problem! Oh yeah, it only weighs 330# if that matters. 1 yr warranty also 100%. if ya need a compressor, call them before you buy, they ship nationwide. My bro in law told me tonite that he knows several of his buddies and shops have bought them clear over in Tennessee and have NOTHING bad to say about them. I offered credit card number and Rex said no problem, just pay the delivery guy by card, check, or cash, they didn't care. Just thought I'd share.
