Last night i had my car out, problems with the carb had the engine REALLY flat. i was getting my ass handed to me on the straights, but i found i could float in the corner really hard and make up what i lost going off..that worked for about 5 laps till the right rear snapped off. Ive taken that ride a few times now and i'm done! we can't run a 9 inch so ive gotta get the best i can buy for it. let me know what any of you have run. I'm thinking 3500lb cars on 8" goodyears on pavement is more side load than ma mopar intended.
The research i have done tells me that Moser sells pairs for $370 + green style bearings for $65. Anyone know of better prices? I would rather only buy a right, but if i had to i will, I do have 2 cars. has anyone pressed off and reused a green bearing?
