Has Anyone Replaced Their Cardboard Glove Box Liner?

My '67 Belvedere II came with a torn original glove box liner in the trunk, and no replacement in the glove box. Just a big hole. The first re-pop I purchased was garbage, as well as being crushed during transport. So I sent it back for a refund. I ordered another from a different company, and it was more of a fiberglass-infused cardboard, darker, and much stronger than even the original, as well as the most expensive. I didn't want plastic. Too modern for me..

But wow! Admittedly, it's the first time I've attempted replacement, and it took two hours to get the job done. Not having access to the back of the liner to keep holes in alignment was a ruthless task! But, after those two hours and as few nasty words uttered and patience I could manage, I got it to fit, um, like a glove....box...liner. Now I have a place for my paperwork! Yeah!

Have any of you replaced yours, and was it a chore?
