Hello Mopar Fans:
In a world where people spend tillions to save the whales - save the ozone & save good old mother earth - I on the other hand have taken the crusade to save old Mopars from the scaper.
My latest mission is to possibly save a 2 owner 1968 Dodge Monoco 2dr hardtop. Only 63,000 original miles * Totally original *
Totally unmolested * Original paint & interior * Original fender tag still in it's correct place & original build sheet.
The old gal is powered by a 383-2V - Column shift automatic * The options are few - Power steering - Am radio * Magnum 500 rims * My bad - it has none factory dual exhaust.
The bench seat interior is factory Red in color - needs some TLC like front seat cover - headliner missing a section by rear window - carpet is somewhat faded * Very nice dash - gauges - bezel with 2 samll cracks by the speaker * All gauges - heater - wipers - etc work.
The floors are all original & super solid - Very nice frame * Couple minor rust spots - nothing at all serious * Chrome is very nice - as is the brightwork & glass * The bad - high winds blew over the old oak tree & guess where it landed ? Yup right on the left rear quarter panel.
I haven't tied to open the trunk & have no intentions to - I know itll never close if I try * The trunk was in very good condition before the act of mother nature.
I'm hoping someone - somewheres will see this old gal for what she was - beautiful & proud - buy her & fix her back up * Not just buy her to rip her heart out for another project * Think of it as a mission of mercy & the call goes out to Mopar lovers everywhere * I think I just heard her say - please save me !!!
