Have a 66 Satellite,set up as Drag Car But "Street Legal" . The idiot who drove it the other day forgot (he's old) to put the hood pins back in it. Stays on real well till about 25 MPH, then goes straight up! Not broken up real bad but bad enough. I used Sled City for light weight bumpers for it - BIG MISTAKE. Hood came with on the car when we bought it quite a few years ago, weight is only 19 lbs. Has 6 pak scoop as part of the hood (not cut in and added) - ya I know it's on a Plymouth so should call it - 6 bbl. Went through all papers I have can not find where it came from. Called Glastek to see what they have as nothing on computer site. US Body Source has a race weight hood ( pin on like mine ) but no scoop, they will had but by time it's done and shipped $788 and get to 26 lbs. Unlimited Products list one with Dart - Cuda style Hemi Scoop $349 plus Shipping or with six-pak style $349. Shipping $190. So a little less over all but all made in one piece. Weight close enough at 23 lbs. Heard good and bad about both. QUESTION: Anyone had dealings with either or have a suggestion as to where to purchase. Cost a factor,but quality and and actually receiving it is more important. Question 2 : Which Hood Scoop ? Car is painted FM3 ( Moulin Rouge) but hood and bumpers Satin Black.
