Need help installing my master cylinder!

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and new to Dodge pickup trucks. What I need help with (for today anyway) is figuring out how to install my hydraulic clutch assembly.

The truck is a 1896 Dodge D100. Originally had a slant 6 with an auto. Then it got swapped to a 318 with an auto, then it got a manual with a cable clutch put behind it. After a while a 360 with an NP435 got thrown in, and the project stopped for a couple years. That's when I came along and bought it.

My problem is that I have no idea how to put this master cylinder in. There isn't a hole in the firewall that I can see for the pushrod to go through to connect to the pedal. Will I have to make one, and then fabricate a bracket for my m/c to connect to?

Another thing I can't figure out is what my slave cylinder is supposed to look like. I know where it connects, but isn't it supposed to have a little rod sticking out of it that goes into the transmission to release the clutch?

If it seems like I have no clue what I'm doing...that's because I don't hahaha. But I'm willing to learn and I'm fairly mechanically inclined so it shouldn't be too difficult for me as long as people are willing to help me out :D
