Hi. I have 56 Plymouth with 277. The compression is 105-115. Low but consistent across. The engine doesn’t smoke and oil is clean. It idles great but when I hit the gas and put a load it sputters. I’m trying different things like pertronix ignition and wires. But my question is should the engine run well with this compression? I think it should. I’m trying to diagnose. Thank you.
