408 for next year

Well after much thought and measuring the pros and cons of the 360 vs 408 I have decided to go with the 408. Just ordered scat crank and Icon IC 969 pistons(13.5 @58 cc, 12.3 @65 cc, 11.6 @70cc) from Flatlander racing, had best prices on pistons I could find. I am going to use more rpm than the old 360 and will also have more cubic inches and compression too. I think I will step up to a 6.20 gear from the 5.83 gear. Hoping for 6500-6800 rpm, only use about 6000 with the 360 sometimes 6200 on a tacky day.

Any suggestions on a cam would be good, I was thinking 540-560 lift? 290-295 duration? suggestion for rocker arm brands, shaft mounted alum or steel? I have been using some alum speed pros for the last couple of years with little problem on a 540 lift cam but will the alum last with more cam and rpm?
