Question for you folks.... Is the HCV linked to the temperature sensor/gauge for a 1963 Non A/C New Yorker?
I am not getting enough heat out of the vents even after radiator and motor are completely warmed to thermostat temps. My temperature gauge does not work and constantly registers cold... Thinking maybe the HCV is not opening all the way to allow the hot water into the heater core. I am gonna check both input and output hoses to heater core later today to see if both hot..
