I just picked up a Dart bracket car with a 440. The P.O. said he was told he had too much oil pressure, so a friend "cut the spring" to reduce it. At about 3000 rpm this thing is near 90psi. Is that too much? The gauge is an old SW mechanical, I'm not sure how accurate it is. If this too much pressure, how do I fix it?
