I am upgrading my brakes from manual to power brakes in my 1972 challenger. I have installed the brake booster and it appears that the push rod does not line up with the pedal. anyone know if i need to change the pedal or am i just missing something? I had to knock out the two top mounting bolts from the steering column support bracket (old master cylinder) to be able to mount the booster and I thought maybe I could just drill a couple of holes and drop the brake booster down a bit. provided it doesn't hit the wheel well when lowered. any ideas? thanks:shrug:
