I am building a 318 with 308 heads and am tryiing to pick a cam. I ran camquest and it suggested a thumpr #20-600-4, or a 275DEH. I was running a Hughes 1326 whiplash series but it fell off at about 5500. I want it to pull to 6000. One person suggested the thumpr might be too much cam for a "teen". Any cam doctors out there?
