Hi all, Ted Poe here. I'm new to Moparchat. I am retired and returning to my first hobby, old CARS!
I am working on a 49 Desoto 4dr Deluxe that is a total basket case as far as the mechanicals but has a very decent body and chassis.
I already owned an 87 New Yorker so I am slowly moving the entire powertrain over to the Desoto.
My wrench twisting was many many years ago and pretty much limited to 53 - 57 Fords and such.
These emission controls on the 87 engine gotta go before it goes into the Desoto.
Any thoughts on what I should or shouldn't do as concerns totally desmogging it? I have already done the leanburn removal. Went with an HEI type system and non 'puter carb.
Again, HI YA'LL
