Do-Over

Standing around the water cooler, an acquaintance at work, who knew I was a "car guy" asked me if I could have any of the cars I've owned back which car would it be. I answered that most of the fun cars I've owned had carburetors and I never want another carbureted car. So, choosing only from the vehicles that were fuel injected, of which only the trucks had V-8s, I would have to say the car I would choose is the Pontiac Fiero. This is not to disparage any of the Mopars I've owned, I really liked most of them a lot. However, the Fiero was unique, attractive, easy to service and fun to drive. Mine was a boring white, '84 2M4; I would still love to have an '88 Formula or GT, maybe in red or silver. It would be my daily driver.

If only Chrysler had a two-seat sports car built around the Pentastar engine...
