my 1974 barracuda interior seats are tattered .and green . i’d like to switch to black . can i use a different year vinyl pattern (say 71) and mix onto a 1974 front seat frame ? also will a 1971 rear seat upper and lower fit properly in my 1974 ?

I need to adjust the convertible top on my ’71 Cuda so that the guide pins go into the proper position when the top is fully closed and latched. It is difficult to show in the pictures, but the guide pin on the passenger side is off by about 1/2" …
