There are 3 linkages on the driver's side of my carb -- throttle, kick-down, and cruise control. My new 4 barrel carb is at least 4 inches wider than the old 2 barrel. When I purchased the new carb from Edelbrock, they said that would be no problem. Now I have 3 linkages that will not fit, as they are forced to bend severely to meet up with the driver's side of the carb, that is now 4 more inches away. They sold me an adaptor, which does NOTHING but add an extra inch to the problem. I can't be the only guy to ever add a bigger carb to his machine. What am I to do?
