Convertible boots 1969 Fury – correct clips

Hi, a friend in the states ordered a convertible boot for me from legendary, it’s arrived with plastic clips sewn into the edge but my car has a piece of trim with about 30 metal snaps along it. Is the boot the wrong one or has someone put the wrong fixings on my car? I think it kind of looks too short too although I don’t have access to measure it against the car right now, possible they’ve mixed up 1968 and 1969?

Short somewhere behind the dash in 1969 Fury III

So when I tested the window washer on my Fury, I found it was dead. Had a look around and found the ground screw for the washer assembly was missing, and a piece of electrical tape wound around the tab it would go through.

I put a screw in and …. the key wasn’t even in the ignition and the washer motor started spraying water all over the floor, which is where someone pointed the tubes they’d unhooked from the jets….

There’s 12v on the positive side of that pump, at all times. Dead…

Rust near both lower corners of windscreen

So 1969 Fury III convertible, I hadn’t noticed this until I happened to have the bonnet up and the doors open at the same time while replacing the door jamb switches.

Convertible well liner fitting

Hi, does anyone happen to have any photos of how the well liner should be attached? The service manual isn’t really descriptive enough.

The push studs are simple but I’m not sure which part of the seat back it should be attaching to. The 1969 car I’m buying has one with a slight tear in it that I can patch up, but it was just laying in the trunk partially tangled in the mechanism.

Looking to buy a Fury III, advice on a located car / warning signs?

So I’m looking to vent my inner mid life crisis, and the best way seems to be buying a big convertible cruiser. I found a 1969 Fury 3 fairly nearby, can you see any obvious issues?

Pretty sure the fender skirts are aftermarket, car was originally metallic green and it wasn’t a bare metal respray. I know the side pipes and police lamps are non standard (probably will remove them if I buy it). The engine and transmission are rebuilt and look almost new (transmission is so clean it looks…
