Long story but I need one solid steel push rod for a 68 Fury III 383 engine.
It measures roughly 8 3/8" in length. (hard to measure accurately because of the bend)

Anyone have a spare laying around they would like to sell?

Haven’t posted in a while, usually means all is going well right? Which it has until couple weeks ago. Original oil pump failed….had a lifter collapse and push rod came out and got bent. I took the lifter apart and cleaned it out really good and polished it in my lathe and put it back in and ran the newly installed high volume oil pump and oil pressure is great. I will take them all apart and service all the lifters.

Since I have the intake off I figure I’ll pull the heads and do a valve…

Need one 68 Fury 383 solid steel push rod, anyone got a used one?

So the PO of this Fury III put a plastic locking gas cap on this car and it’s a nightmare to get out of the filler neck, it gets tuck and is like 3″ down in there. Looking at pics it seems like the original gas cap is basically a radiator cap.

Is there something out there you guys can recommend that is a direct fit for this car? It’s a 68 (not wagon). I’m sure Stant has to make one right? I dont need one of these $60 billet aluminum deals, just something a little nicer….. like the one in…

So I have a 68 Fury III and the interior is great aside from the sail panels and headliner.
Now that I got all the electrical working like it should, I was hoping to buy some new blue sail panels but I cant find a 100% guaranteed fit for this car or the original color blue as an option. When I was looking for courtesy light lenses I had to image search for the one my Fury takes and no where does it say it fits this car.
So what gives?? What is it about this car that I’m missing when trying…

Need one of these for my 68 Fury. Front left. Don’t really need the lens. Got all the electrical working but I’m getting a weird ground loop feedback through this guy.
The plastic thing inside that holds the contacts is jacked.

So after installing the rebuilt distributor I got from @halifaxhops (gorgeous work btw) and setting the timing by ear so it ran smooth enough to get the timing light on, I realize I dont know what I’m looking for on the pulley as a reference mark. I have the piece on the block with the marks on it and the hole (which I read is TDC) so when I put the light on there I dont see any marks on the pulley at all. Granted it’s dirty/rusty. What sort of mark am I looking for? A…

Time for the typical newbie timing question….

So the horn ring on my 68 Fury III is broken. I might be able to repair it but then again maybe not. So first pic is my car.
Second pic is a replacement on ebay.
Third pic is kinda cool and looks like it would work….question is…will it?
