I am in the process of ordering new suspension and steering parts for my A100 van, on various websites looking at parts I have seen an Idler arm, I have been under my van and cannot even see one,am I missing something? or is this a power steering part …

My 66 Monaco has the shifter stuck in the park position, the push button is not flush with the top of the shifter, I can see one small screw towards the top, if I undo this can I just pull the top of the shifter off, remove the console and see what’s going on?
I did half this problem the other day but managed to wiggle it free.
