Minnesota Title question
I’ve located a vehicle I have some interest in purchasing in Minnesota.
The vehicle’s title is in the original owners name, however the person I have spoken with states he has a signed, registered letter, with police approval, releasing the vehicle to him in lieu of payment for expenses he is owed, and all I would have to do is go to the Minnesota DMV with the person who is in possession of the vehicle, with this letter, and transfer the title into my name.
This sounds odd, and I’m thinking…
Saw a rare on this weekend…
I went to the Turning Back Time 18th annual car show in Sycamore, IL over the weekend with my R/T, and came across this super rare Chrysler 66 300.
The car was radio delete, oil gauge delete, temp gauge delete, and oh yeah…a 3 on the tree.
I didn’t know this was an option for the 300 after 1965. Maybe 1 of 1?
Also saw the 9000 NYer there too. Still for sale. Nice car but too many doors for me.

Timing marks?
Is it possible the timing marks should be be top / top?
When disassembly on my 440 the marks were as mentioned above. When reassembly, I followed the book and set the timing at top / bottom.
Car will crank, it’s getting fuel and spark but it is too far advanced. It backfires through the intake/carb.
Any thoughts on this?
70 Newport 4 door
Not mine, but I called and spoke with the seller. The 383/trans is getting janked going into a 70 Super Bee, and he’s parting the rest till a demo derby guy buys the shell.
He’s already sold some parts off the car, so if you need something, better act fast. This one won’t be around too much longer.

Putzing round the shop
Been staying late, trying to squeeze in some time putting the 440 back together after cam/lifters replacement, so I thought with as much time as I seem to be spending here, I may as well upgrade with a little creature comforts.
