Glen-Ray Radiators

Just a heads up, I’ve been trying to hit Glen-Ray’s website for a couple of days and it just spins. I was getting concerned so I called them, the guy who answered wasn’t aware of a problem but tried it himself and he couldn’t get on either. He’s passing it on to his Webmaster so hopefully it will be back up soon.

Caveat emptor

This is simply a reminder for everyone. Another forum I’m on is for John Deere tractors. Here is as long story a member on that site shared. I’m passing it on, although, in hind sight it was obviously as scam, as the OP pointed out, in the heat of trying to get a part you’ve been looking for, we can all get careless.

Be aware of online scams because sometimes you get to be an example to others of what not to do.

This is one of those times. This might be a bit long. Go get some popcorn….

NOT MINE 69 New Yorker, No engine, trans, title $600

:BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:
This looks like a very nice car, it’s a shame another c has probably been used as a heart/sole transplant for a B,E, or A body. There is no engine, trans, driveshaft or title but in PA, you can get a reconstructed title for it.

If this were a hardtop or two door, I would be on my way to pick it up for the windshield but I don’t have the time to part this out or the desire to spend money getting it on the road, I’ve already got a project…

NOT MINE 33 Plymouth PC – Sleeper Street Rod $30,000

The Grandfather of a guy I work with is getting rid of his cars because of failing health. He can no longer drive. He has a 1933 Plymouth PC that has a 360 w/ 727 Trans, Mustang II front suspension and an S10 rear end. The rest of the car looks very nice and mostly original. It has add on front turn signals and I believe the original wire wheels are long gone. I’m told it’s 35k miles but I don’t know yet if that’s the drivetrain or the car.

If you know anyone looking for something like…

1969 Plymouth VIP Parts Car $300 Not Mine

I saw this come up for sale about a day after it was posted, originally they didn’t have a price. I’ve been trying to come up with a way to get it but it’s not in the cards for me. If anyone gets this car, PLEASE keep me in mind, you can recover your cost from me alone but I don’t have the time to drive to NC/SC boarder right now.

The parts I’m looking for off this car:

The windshield if it is not de-laminated or cracked
The steering wheel if it is not cracked
The AC hose
And the…

3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel Gen 3

Totally off topic and I’m not looking but I was just curious about this engine. It seems when they first came out, Ram was marketing pretty hard but I don’t hear anything about them anymore. Are their inherent problems? What about the 8HP75 trans that is required with this engine?
