vented gas cap for 57 Plymouth?
I assumed I needed a vented gas cap and got a new one that’s “supposed” to keep in vapors. When I unscrew it I hear air like a bottle cap off a carbonated drink. I read a negative feedback that this cap sprayed someone with gas when removing. Doesn’t sound very vented to me? Do they make an identical old type gas cap these days or shall I drill a small hole in mine? Thanks!
Anyone out there have details/photos of seat belt locations on a 57 Belvedere 4 door sedan ?
I can’t see any dimples as mine has a thick undercoating.
Front and rear shock absorbers for my 57 Belvedere 301 v8?
I hear KYB shocks are good middle of the road shocks but there’s so many on ebay and have contradicting info on what actually fits. Not looking to spend a lot but don’t want junk either. Anyone have info on what will fit front and rear maybe on ebay or Amazon?? Thanks!

Delco and Autolite starters the same? 57 Belvedere 301
My Starter is an Autolite 6001 and needs a "Bendix"starter drive assembly. I just ordered one that is a Delco starter drive. Is this the same part with a different brand name? Will it fit my Autolite starter? Happy New year everyone!

Seat belt placement?
I’d like to install 4 standard lap belts in my 57 Belvedere. Were there optional seat belts when new and where do I drill the holes?
