What are you guys doing when you need to re-fill your R12 system. I really do not want to spend the money and time to convert to R134A. Are supplies still available for R12?

1967 Chrysler Newport 383

The oil filter that I got from Orielly’s today was a lot larger than the one on the car. I should have looked at it before I went to purchase the filter, but I did not. Here is the pic of the one on the car and the one that O’rielly’s gave me. Back to the store. This is really a small filter and I expected it to be in the rear of the motor as opposed to at the front of the engine. You can tell I an a new a MOPAR newbie.

1967 Chrysler Newport

I bought this one today. It has 46,000 one owner miles and zero rust. The interior is in excellent condition. It has a 383 engine. The first thing I need to correct is the passenger side E-brake is stuck. I am guessing the first thing I should do is pull off the tire and hub to see what’s going on. Anyone have any other suggestions?
