Parking brake broke. Any ideas for a quick fix?
Tooth broke off the lock. Parking brake still works good, here in flat Northern Ohio, but only if I keep my foot on it. Can I just grind that one hinge bolt off and replace the lock assembly or weld a tooth on?
Looks like a huge pain to take whole parking brake assembly off. I’m thinking the front fender has to come off to get to the whole parking brake assembly? Thanks guys!
Another heat riser question (1970). Is 720 degrees normal?
Hi, I did a search but can’t find this specific answer. Based on pics, can anyone tell me – Is my heat riser open or closed? It won’t turn and unbolting the exhaust might seem easy but moving it out of the way would be a pain in the A (no room). The flat area on the knob is pointing vertical. (up/down). Turning riser counter clockwise will open it, correct? Are there any other markings?

300 Hurst broadcast sheet – velour interior?…Help please
I found build sheet under velour seat, which seemed to be untouched (but who knows after 50 yrs). Why do I have velour/leather seats when every other 300 Hurst has all leather seats? Previous owner didn’t know but said doors used to be velour fabric as well but were changed because original cloth fell apart.

Anyone know how I can figure out what year 440 I have? Did Chrysler paint orange over blue for the HP440’s? Before me, Car was abused, lots of things rigged up, maybe in a wreck since driveline didn’t line up (fixed that) but still fixing stuff after a decade.
