What are these screw heads called? What tool is used?

Upon trying to remove the gas cap on our 68 Barracuda, we noticed these odd looking sheet metal screw heads.
I imagine it was a theft deterrent but I have never seen these.
What are they called and what is the tool to remove them?
Drill baby, drill?

I found my exhaust leak

These Edelbrock exhaust gaskets didn’t last 600 miles on #projectvertfish.
But I suppose trying to stuff the 500-ish horsepower from my BPE Magnum 408 through 1967 hi-po 273 factory manifolds creates a lot of pressure?
I’m going to get some TTI headers once my credit card cools down a bit.
Until then I’m going to try the ramflex gaskets and see if they do any better.

The one man seat belt and stick brake bleed

All my car buddies say they want to come help me (drink beer) in the garage, but they always seem busy when I need a second person. Normally I’d grab the missus but she’s out of town.
So what’s a fella supposed to do when trying to get rid of that spongie pedal by trying to get that little bit of air out out of the brake system.?
Standing there staring with my beer for back up; I noticed my seat back had about 3-4″ of spring back and the plan was hatched. I’d use a stick of the right length…

1967 Barracuda for sale in California – not mine

Who is looking for a builder?
This thing was running; but these guys brought it out on a flatbed. They said they did a lien sale and had just got it finalized the day before the show and wanted to make a few bucks with a quick flip.
They said they were in it for $4k-ish and were hoping to get $6k out of it for their “efforts”. (It doesn’t look like they did anything to me.)
Anyways, I live close and can personally help any FABO family by making a better inspection if anyone is really…

Cars and (expensive) coffee in Capitola California every Saturday morning

I took #projectvertfish and the dogs out to our local cars and coffee.
Its tough, but I try to maintain my tough-guy image while having two little dogs in outfits.
(not relly sure anyone buys it though)
Parked next to me was an awesome Petty Belvedere recreation. There was also a nice 67 Barracuda V8 notch for sale that I’ll post up in the classifieds later.
Enjoy!

22″ radiator from 1967 Barracuda $100 + ride

I have a 22" radiator I removed from my 67 with a 273.
I replaced it with an aluminum one with electric fans when I installed my BPE 408.
No leaks and kept my original 273 cool with no issues.
Pick up in Watsonville 95076 or I can ship it if you p…

Do you ever drive with your top up?

I’m in the group that says, “if its not raining; then dress warm cuz the top is gonna be down”.
On a similar note….
I won’t drive my convertible when it is in any way wet outside.
Do you?
